Vendor management

Fair vendor management that stays tied to the booth on the map.

Vendor week is a stack of spreadsheets: who is coming, which zone they sit in, what they sell, and whether that still matches the map in the gate office. Midway Metric keeps the vendor record, the public directory, and the grounds map in one place.

Guests use the directory to find a booth. Staff use the same records when a vendor moves. On Community plans and above, invited vendors can maintain their own public listing instead of emailing changes to the office.

01

The directory staff actually edit

Operators keep vendors in admin: name, category, description, zone, and the plot on the map. The public vendor list on the event site reads from those records, so a booth move does not require a new PDF.

  • Categories and zones so food, commercial, and exhibit rows are not one flat list
  • Booth placement on the grounds map
  • A public directory guests can open without an account
  • Invite links so a vendor can claim their login

02

The vendor portal

Attendee Lite is a staff-managed directory. Community, County & Regional, and State & Enterprise add the vendor portal. An invited vendor signs in and updates the listing guests see.

  • Public name, about text, phone, and contact email
  • Weekly hours and a menu
  • Open, busy, peak, or closed, plus a wait time
  • Logo and a hero image
  • Coupons on the visitor listing

What this does not try to be

This is the operating record for vendors during the season: who they are, where they sit, and what the public should see. It is not a permit-office replacement, and it does not invent an application workflow the fair does not already run. If the board still takes applications on paper, staff enter the vendors who are actually on the grounds.
